Gifts of Spirit was established in 1987 in the State of Washington by Susan Sanders and has been registered as a Washington State business since that time. Susan is a beadwork artist selling at juried and private craft shows around the Pacific Northwest.
Originally she shared a partnership with Angela Gauthier and Sally McQuain under the name Perle de Verre. The partnership dissolved due to moving to areas making it difficult to continue working together.
Susan using the names Gifts of Spirit, sold dolls and beadwork in Colorado while living there. For three years her work was sold at craft and art shows in Telluride and other towns on the Western slope.
Susan's one-of-a-kind dolls have always been a favorite along with her peyote stitched pouches, keychains, necklaces, bracelets and medicine bags.
After returning to Washington in 1992, Susan has continued selling her beadwork, bags and dolls along with craft supplies.
On the internet Gifts of Spirit has had websites at various URLs over the years. In 2003, the Giftsofspirit.com domain name became available from a shop and website in Texas so Susan was able to obtain it.
